CES cooperates with
2005 QWE
The global strategic partner of CES- Qingdao World Expo (QWE) -eventually
appears. International Consumer Electronics Show, Alaska, USA , known as CES, is
the world's biggest consumer electronics expo. It is informed that CES has
formally chosen QWF as its sole global strategic partner recently. It is not
only the first time that CES goes overseas but also a symbol that Qingdao will
be the next focus of global consumer electronics industry.
The success of 2004 Qingdao World Expo has not only exhibited its worldwide
impact but also attracted CES and the world consumer electronics industry with
its potential business opportunities. This is a crucial factor in contributing
the cooperation between the two strengths and the main reason why CES
immediately determined to cooperate with QWE after half year's investigation.
It is reported that CES mainly appreciates five advantages of QWE: first,
besides the USA, China is the country of the fastest growth and the largest
market space for consumer electronics; secondly, Qingdao is China's biggest
production base with its inherent industry advantage; thirdly, QWE is
intrinsically the biggest of its kind for consumer electronics in the

fifthly, the Chinese government puts great expectations upon QWE with a firm
determination of success.
From 2005, the Qingdao home appliance exhibition will be converted to that
of China's consumer electronics most characteristic of globalization. QWE will
not only formally change its name to China International Consumer Electronics
Show, but also delineate from ordinary home appliance exhibitions in terms of
the exhibiting content, form, participating enterprises, audience, etc.
By then, the world's top consumer electronics enterprises, technologies,
the most influential heads and the biggest purchasers will gather in Qingdao,
bringing new opportunities for the industry. It is also informed that 2005 China
