Qingdao Consensus

我們，參加“青島奧帆賽成功舉辦十周年高端對(duì)話”的代表，于2018年8月相聚中國(guó)青島，以“奧運(yùn)：讓城市更有魅力”為主題，圍繞奧運(yùn)文化傳承、奧運(yùn)遺產(chǎn)利用、帆船運(yùn)動(dòng)發(fā)展、城市品牌打造等話題，共話奧運(yùn)城市的現(xiàn)在與未來，并達(dá)成以下共識(shí)。

We gathered in Qingdao in August2018 to attend， as representatives， the“High－Level Dialogue on the10th Anniversary of the2008 Qingdao Olympic Sailing Competition”． With the theme of“Olympics Adding Charm to the City”， we held heated discussions on such topics as Olympic culture inheritance， Olympic heritage utilization， sailing sports development and city brand building， charting the present and prospect of the Olympic city． We have reached the following consensus as a result．

——弘揚(yáng)奧運(yùn)文化，傳承奧運(yùn)精神。奧運(yùn)會(huì)作為經(jīng)濟(jì)、科技、文化、教育、健康的全球交流互動(dòng)平臺(tái)，是舉辦城市向全球展現(xiàn)所在國(guó)家和地區(qū)文化的重要載體。此次對(duì)話，匯聚了眾多國(guó)際組織、奧運(yùn)城市、賽事組委會(huì)的國(guó)內(nèi)外知名嘉賓。我們將本著弘揚(yáng)奧運(yùn)文化、傳承奧運(yùn)精神的目標(biāo)，加強(qiáng)各方之間的交流和合作，共享奧林匹克和帆船運(yùn)動(dòng)發(fā)展成果。

— Carry forward the Olympic culture and inherit the Olympic spirit． As a global exchange and interaction platform for economy， science and technology， culture， education and health， the Olympic Games is an important carrier for the host city to show their national and regional cultures to the world． This Dialogue has attracted a host of well－known guests from different international organizations， Olympic cities and organizing committees． We will strengthen exchanges and cooperation among all parties and share fruits in an effort to promote the Olympic culture and inherit the Olympic spirit．

——打造城市品牌，提升城市國(guó)際知名度。近年來，中國(guó)帆船運(yùn)動(dòng)取得成果豐碩，帆船運(yùn)動(dòng)在世界各地迅速發(fā)展，呈現(xiàn)出良好發(fā)展態(tài)勢(shì)。各方一致認(rèn)為，要加強(qiáng)與國(guó)際奧委會(huì)、世界帆船聯(lián)合會(huì)以及國(guó)際帆船組織的交流互動(dòng)。作為奧帆城市，青島以帆船為載體，成為知名的“帆船之都”，實(shí)踐了帆船運(yùn)動(dòng)讓城市“更加富有活力、更加時(shí)尚美麗、更加獨(dú)具魅力”的發(fā)展目標(biāo)。

— Build the city brand to enhance Qingdao’s international popularity and reputation． In recent years， Chinese sailing sports has yielded substantial results as sailing has developed rapidly around the world towards a promising future． All parties believe it is necessary to strengthen the interaction with the International Olympic Committee， the World Sailing Federation and international sailing organizations． As an Olympic city， Qingdao takes sailing as the carrier， becomes the well－known“Sailing City”， and strives to achieve the development goal of making the city“more vibrant， fashionable and attractive”．

——?jiǎng)?chuàng)造帆船發(fā)展良好氛圍，引進(jìn)和舉辦更多國(guó)際知名賽事。著眼于帆船運(yùn)動(dòng)可持續(xù)長(zhǎng)遠(yuǎn)發(fā)展，要在帆船行業(yè)發(fā)展政策、碼頭基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施、青少年和全民帆船普及等方面多措并舉，引進(jìn)國(guó)際高端帆船賽事，打造具有廣泛國(guó)際影響的自主品牌帆船賽事，以帆船等海洋休閑體育運(yùn)動(dòng)為載體，讓帆船運(yùn)動(dòng)成為生活時(shí)尚，讓奧運(yùn)成果惠及城市發(fā)展。

— Create favorable environment for sailing development， and introduce and hold more internationally known events． With focus on the long－term sustainable development of sailing sports， multiple measures need to be taken in terms of sailing industry development policy， terminal infrastructure， popularization of sailing among teenagers and the general public． Introduce international high－end sailing events， create our own brand of sailing event with extensive international influence， take sailing and other marine leisure sports as the carrier， make sailing a fashion， and let the Olympic achievements benefit the city development．

——促進(jìn)城市間、賽事間、組織間、俱樂部間的交流與合作?！扒鄭u奧帆賽成功舉辦10周年高端對(duì)話”是深入探討奧運(yùn)文化傳承、奧運(yùn)遺產(chǎn)利用、帆船運(yùn)動(dòng)發(fā)展、城市品牌打造等議題的國(guó)際高端交流平臺(tái)。與會(huì)代表一致認(rèn)為，相互支持彼此帆船賽事和國(guó)際交流活動(dòng)，積極簽署帆船運(yùn)動(dòng)專業(yè)領(lǐng)域合作協(xié)議，以此為起點(diǎn)，共建交流平臺(tái)，為世界帆船運(yùn)動(dòng)發(fā)展貢獻(xiàn)力量。

— Promote exchanges and cooperation among different cities， competitions， organizations and clubs． The“High－Level Dialogue on the10th Anniversary of the2008 Qingdao Olympic Sailing Competition” proves to be an international high－end exchange platform for in－depth discussions on Olympic cultural heritage， Olympic heritage utilization， sailing sports development， and city brand building， etc． All representatives believe it is necessary to support each other to hold sailing events and international exchange activities， actively sign cooperation agreements on sailing in professional fields， take this as a starting point， co－build a communication platform， and make contributions to the development of the world＇s sailing sports．

共同祝賀“青島奧帆賽成功舉辦十周年高端對(duì)話”圓滿成功。我們倡議認(rèn)真總結(jié)對(duì)話成果，分享奧運(yùn)城市發(fā)展經(jīng)驗(yàn)，持續(xù)密切相互聯(lián)系與交流合作，以期更好實(shí)現(xiàn)“奧運(yùn)：讓城市更有魅力”的美好愿望。

We congratulate on the complete success of the“High－Level Dialogue on the10th Anniversary of the2008 Qingdao Olympic Sailing Competition”． We propose to summarize the outcomes of the Dialogue， share Olympic cities’ experience， and keep a close connection and cooperation with each other to turn into reality the vision of＂Olympics Adding Charm to the City and Bringing Happiness to the Citizens＂．
