　　Huiquan Annual Meeting collecting creative ideas for sea sacrificial ceremony

　　It was informed recently by Qingdao Great Holiday Celebrations Office that the opening ceremony of 2005 Qingdao sea sacrificial rite is under preparation. The sea sacrificial rite is one of the grand celebrating activities of Annual Meeting for Huiquan Spring Festival Folk Culture. In order to combine the municipal government's initiative of holding this annual meeting and the unique oceanic culture, the organizing committee decides to collect creative ideas of the new era for the sea sacrificial ceremony among the citizens of Qingdao.

　　Because of the long history of 'Jimo Sea Sacrificial Ceremony', the primitive way of celebration has disappeared, leaving little record of it. The present ceremony, spontaneously organized by the fishers, began in early 1980's and is a form of praying for happiness. At present, the directing group, consisting of experts from the cultural and historical institutions and members of the organizing committee, are busy designing the activities for the opening ceremony.

　　In order to endow the ceremony with the spirit of the new era when displaying it as pure traditional historical culture, the organizing committee has made a decision that if anybody familiar with the traditional ceremony can fuse it with the new era and the sailing competitions in Qingdao in 2008, they can contact the organizing committee and take part in the annual meeting, so as to create a great activity which combines the local culture and the style of the new era.

　　日前，從青島市重大節(jié)慶辦公室傳來消息，2005青島匯泉春節(jié)民俗文化年會(huì)開幕式大型慶典活動(dòng)"祭海"正在緊張籌備過程之中。結(jié)合市政府舉辦本次青島匯泉春節(jié)民俗文化年會(huì)的初衷和青島獨(dú)特的海洋文化，組委會(huì)特向島城社會(huì)各界征集新時(shí)代的"祭海"創(chuàng)意。

　　"即墨祭海"由于年歲已久，起先最原始的方式已不復(fù)存在，有關(guān)這方面的文字記載也很缺乏�，F(xiàn)存的祭海儀式是改革開放以后，漁民自發(fā)組織的一種祈福的形式。目前來自島城各文化、歷史部門的專家和組委會(huì)主要成員組成編導(dǎo)組正在共同設(shè)計(jì)本次開幕式慶典演出。

　　為了在全面地展示"祭海"儀式這一純傳統(tǒng)的歷史文化的同時(shí)，也賦予"祭海"新時(shí)代的精神內(nèi)涵，組委會(huì)做出決定，只要熟悉傳統(tǒng)的祭海儀式、同時(shí)又能把這種儀式融合到時(shí)代中來，并能結(jié)合2008揚(yáng)帆青島的大背景，都可以致電組委會(huì)參與到2005青島匯泉春節(jié)民俗文化年會(huì)祭海儀式創(chuàng)作組來，與專家學(xué)者共同創(chuàng)作一個(gè)具有濃郁地方特色又不失時(shí)代氣息的大型慶典活動(dòng)。
